Because Oriental Medicine  draws it's diagnosis from the comprehensive  understanding of everything that is happening in the patient's constitution, the first visit is focused on information gathering.  This information is evaluated, looking for the pattern to emerge which becomes the diagnosis.

You are requested to bring the New Patient Information packet along with as much information to your first visit as possible.
  • List of all medications, herbs & supplements you are taking, currently and in the past.
  • Any lab work which has been recently completed...blood, urine, saliva, or stool studies.
  • Imaging studies such as X-ray, MRI, CAT or bone scans or bone density scans.  The written report will do.
  • Wear loose clothing. Women should not wear one piece dresses and avoid wearing stockings.
  • Eat lightly before the treatment, exercise before rather than after the treatment, tell me if you are feeling very emotional or extremely fatigued or on your menstrual cycle.
